Our Story

When We Commune is a story-driven, experiential studio creating opportunities for more meaningful connections based in Atlanta, GA.

Our mission is to inspire people to own their life's story and engage more deeply with others through meaningful interactions rooted in the power of connection and the art of conversational storytelling.

Whether through offerings like our card decks, pop-up events, or services, we aim to impact the way people commune.

About the Founder

After years of traveling and calling different corners of the world home, storyteller and multidisciplinary creative, Raven Love, found herself returning to the US, desiring community and long-lasting friendships. While connecting and reconnecting with herself and others, she discovered that conversations and experiences could go beyond the surface when done with intention to be curious and to create memorable moments.

Inspired by her highest value of connection and her favorite art form, storytelling, Love envisioned how much more meaningful life could be if we allowed ourselves to connect more deeply, bringing When We Commune to life.

We Believe

To live a meaningful life requires you to go beyond surface level– to engage in the story of one's self and that of another.

To lean into knowing and being known.

To embrace vulnerability.

To involve the senses.

To see and be seen, hear and be heard… beyond the physical.

To have meaningful interactions really gives way to the power of connection.

Here, we imagine the possibilities of what could happen when we commune.
